Children's Ministry


The Children’s Ministry program is committed to nurturing children in Christian love through a knowledge of God and God’s word, the Bible. The church offers continuing opportunities as well as special events throughout the year.

 

Children’s Ministry Activities

Sunday School Classes
Infant and Toddler Nursery - Room 110
Teacher - Sheryl Roos and others

Church volunteers nurture the babies in a clean, safe, stimulating environment. 

 

Three Year Olds - Room 116
Class structure is introduced to the children through the form of Bible stories, games, crafts and music.
 

Four and Five Year Olds - Room 117

Class structure is introduced to the children through the form of Bible stories, games, crafts and music.


Kindergarten - 3rd Grade -
These children learn Bible truths through a rotation model curriculum.  A Bible text is the basis of an 7-week unit.  During that seven weeks, the children hear the text through story, sing the text through song, and experience it through games, cooking, computer, and art. 

 

4th, 5th, 6th Grade -

     Girls - Room 111

          Teacher - Sharon Ferrell, leader

     Boys - Room 115

          Teacher - Chuck Bean, Dick & Sara Bickell, leaders

 

Reminder for Parents - According to Guidelines established by Children’s Ministries’ Team and  Administrative Board – Parents of children in child care or church programming (ie. Sunday School, Wednesday Night, choir rehearsal, etc) are to be in the building and their location known by teachers, leaders, and care givers. If you must be away from the building at any time, an adult should be named to act on your behalf in the best interest of your child.
