Disciple Bible
Study
Over the years this congregation has had many graduates of DISCIPLE
Bible study. DISCIPLE is an in-depth Bible study, requiring 2
1/2 hour commitment to class each week and an hour reading each day
for 32 to34 weeks. DISCIPLE I, which is a pre-requisite for the
other three classes, is a Bible survey class. DISCIPLE II
focuses on Genesis-Exodus and Luke-Acts. DISCIPLE III focuses on
the Prophets and the Letters of Paul; and DISCIPLE IV focuses on The
Writings (OT) - John - Revelation. A Second Generation DISCIPLE
is now available, and we will be offering JESUS IN THE GOSPELS, a
comparative study of the Christ as revealed in the four gospels.
Another long-term class we offer is CHRISTIAN BELIEVER, which studies
the beliefs and doctrines of the church as revealed in creeds and
other writings. An eight-week study of DISCIPLE (OT) will be
available in the fall. This version requires less reading and
meets weekly for 60 to 90 minutes.
We also offer COMPANIONS IN CHRIST and THE WAY OF FORGIVENESS, both
small group studies that encourage spiritual growth.
